The most common PC/Win software for burning CDs is Adaptec's Easy CD Creator, and as of version 3.5a it does not support overburning. It does not even support 80 minute media. So don't be swayed by software bundling. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 6 Jul 1999 11:00:24 -0500 From: "Bittner, Matthew (KTR) ~U" Subject: RE: Ani "Have a great time! I saw her in June at Wolf Trap w/ Maceo Parker. Killer show.. despite the rain! Have you seen her live before?" No, Friday was the first time I saw her live. Excellent show! That woman has a *lot* of energy. Dare I say even more than The Nields? Maceo was jamming, and Ani joined him for a very funky song. Everything was great about that night - except for the temp in the high 80's/low 90's with 100% humidity. Ani rocked with no break. Most excellent! I picked up _more joy, less shame_ which I didn't realise was a CD-single. However, it's still good. Now to catch up on my Ani collection. So far I only own _Dilate_ and _Little Plastic Castle_. Definitely recommened to all! Morphine was probably the band that most served me as a musical gateway from "whatever my middle school friends were listening too" to the idea that new music could be intelligent, personal, and emotive while still being accessible. It may be a small category, but I don't think there will ever be a better slide-bass-and-sax pop combo. Katheleen and I appreciate your kindness and support so very much! Katheleen continues to struggle with health issues and difficulties in recovering from the surgery that she underwent earlier in the year. I know that she loves Happy's music and that she dearly wishes that she could actively subscribe to and participate in Ecto. That, along with many other things, has been impossible for her. Katheleen does follow Ecto via the archives when she is felling well enough to do so. Again Jack, your words of kindness and encouragement mean the world to both of us.
