Anyway, thanks Jeffy and Neile for all the Paula Cole info. I guess now I have no excuse to not finish up the page tonight. Did I really type Paulo Cole???? How come no one has jumped on me? :) I noticed that Neile corrected it in her response, but Jeff, in a surprising move, let me get away with it. Thanks also for the Miss Murgatroid info. That sounds fascinating! In my lazy but interested way, I think I"ll just sit here until Jeff figures out how to order it. Be sure to post the info! (Warner/WEA is Paula's label. Harbinger was originally released on Imago, distributed by BMG. Evidentally Warner's rereleased the CD on their label.) And the best thing about Harbinger is the songs haven't been played to death, buried in a compost heap, and turned into tar by every top 40 station. A fave on that label is "a chance operation: the john cage tribute" (but you knew I'd say that :-]). It's a double-disk with music by Patrick Moraz (occasionally of Yes), Laurie Anderson, Ryuichi Sakomoto, Oregon, Frank Zappa, John Cale, and others, including IMHO the best thing Yoko Ono ever did. n.p. minidisk recording of the Comma performance at the Velvet Lounge (some MP3s should be up at http://www.metatronpress.com/mp3/ within a day) n.r.
