I've always respected her guitarwork tremendously, even when it gets produced into a rock-solid wall of sound, as it seemed to do a time or two on her solo "Lovesongs for Underdogs". But anyhow, yes, Ani DiFranco. Ani DiFranco Ani DiFranco Ani DiFranco Ani DiFranco. She is the most amazing guitarists I've ever heard. I don't think there are hardly any other guitarists out there who can do what she does. My Heaven... she's always moving all ten fingers and it's this orchestra, this massive acoustic symphony monster, and then she stops and it was a guitar actually, but hey, wow. Ani rocks, yo. I'm not at all familiar with her, but the song "Whirly Twirly"(?) was kind of fun. Was that Anna Waronker on backing vocals? In this representative of her stuff? Should I be upset that I caught her on TV instead of the Great American Music Hall were she's playing tonight? It looked kind of cheesy, but I was curious if anyone had ever heard it and had any comments. neal np: Exile - Geoffrey Oryema ------------------------------ End of ecto-digest V5 #55 *************************
