I've seen the Japanese disc at Doug's house, and believe it's all live? Not totally sure. I have a dub of Heather doing Just Passing Through on HFS. It contains Heal, Walk This World, Truth and Bone, Maybe an Angel, and Like A Hurricane. They are all done solo with accoustic guitar, and are completely brilliant. I think it may be my favorite Heather Nova album :) It's certainly the HN stuff I've listened to the most. It's kind of odd how I came by this tape. One day a few years ago, Sue Trowbridge and I were going somewhere in her car. Scrambling around for something to play, I picked out a Stereolab tape. She said it annoyed her because she always put it in when she wanted to hear Stereolab, and only later realized that she had taped the Heather Nova broadcast over it. When I heard it, I couldn't imagine feeling that way, because I loved the HN stuff, borrowed the tape, and have listened to it over and over. (I think I'd immediately flip into Heather Nova mode whenever I popped in the tape.) Neal ------------------------------ End of ecto-digest V4 #237 **************************
