I'm doing spring cleaning today and getting rid of things and trying to sell things to make extra $ (those of you that know me know I'm unfortunately in debt)... So, I'm going to try this and hope it doesn't get out of hand... I have some boots on tape that I don't really need anymore b/c I have most of them on CD now and I spend most of my time listening to Tara or Emm boots anyway... So, these are a few of the things I'm giving away, and there might be more as the day progresses. The CDs are for sale, but I'm pricing them cheap! ;) The boot thing works like this: It'd be unfair to give them to the first person who writes...so: my friends get first pick. They just do. :) If you want to trade or send me baked goods or something ;), I'll consider you next. ;) Everyone else, just send me what you're interested in and I'll tell you if it's available or not and what to do. Since I am poor, i'd prefer that you send me a SASE and / or an envelope and $1 or 2 for postage. The cds I'll pay for postage. *Please* don't write me and say "send me" xxx or be rude about stuff... because, that kind of happened w/ the Sarah calender thing and it really pissed me off... I'll post later tonight to tell you all what's left... Please also don't write and say, "could you copy xxx for me?" or whatever... I just don't have the time and money, really to make boots for people right now, I'm still working on copying my LRC for everyone. ;) Okay, anyway, email me w/ interests. Do not post it to the lists. You lucky Los Angeles & San Diego area folks will get another chance to listen to this incredible band. A special industry showcase gig is now scheduled at Genghis Cohen in Los Angeles on Thursday, April 16th. Those that attended last weeks Garage Orchestra gig there will testify that it was another wonderful night. Several amazing new songs getting the full blown Garage Orchestra treatment. Freedy Johnston also made a surprise appearance & joined CLB onstage for an impromptu rendition of "The Look Of Love". Also, two days after the L.A. gig, CLB & The Garage Orchestra do it one more time at Java Joe's in Ocean Beach (San Diego). This is Saturday April 18th. Almost everyone I've spoken to agrees that the Thanksgiving gig at Java Joe's with CLB & Garage Orchestra was their favorite show of 1997. It definately was my favorite gig last year. Do yourself a favor & plan to scope out these gigs if youre anywhere near these areas! You'll never forget it! Alan ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 4 Apr 1998 18:08:39 -0800 (PST) From: "J.
