The interviews are both going to be on Women Out Loud on Australian national radio (on Radio National, in fact) this Sunday, March 22nd. Dar's interview is going to be excellent - I know this for a fact. :) So have a listen - Women Out Loud is aired every Sunday at 5pm and repeated each Wednesday at 11am. I figured that those of you not on any of the Tori lists might be interested. Personally I think the restrictions put on ticket sales in an attempt to foil scalpers (as detailed below) are pretty ridiculous, but since someone on the precious-things list related a tale of what sounds like the same system being used for some special NIN dates I guess they are workable. If of course you're lucky enough to actually live in one of the cities listed. *grumble* -------------------------------------------------------------- Tori Amos 1998 World Tour NOTE: Please feel free to link to the Really Deep Thoughts web site (http://www.toriamos.org) but we ask that you don't cut-and-paste these tour dates into your own web pages. Tori will perform with a band for the first time in her solo career in venues that will be specifically selected to be "not too big,but not too small." Tori wants this tour to be fan-driven and tickets will be sold only through the box office at each venue. Since these tickets are expected to be in heavy demand Tori wants to make every effort to get tickets directly to going through scalpers or ticket agencies. To that end, we have received word that there will be a limit of two tickets per person. Furthermore, ID will be required when purchasing tickets and being admitted to the venue. Yes, its a bother but this will help avoid scalpers as well as as prevent buyers from paying people to stand in line for them. Tori and her management are committed to making this a tour for the fans! An Internet Simulcast is being considered for one or more concert dates. More info on this as it becomes available. ------------------------------------------------------------- Mike | Michael Curry / mcurry@io.com / mcurry@compuserve.com | | http://www.io.com/~mcurry | | Am I bitter?
