I second woj's (at least, I think it was his) advice to ignore people like Cynthia in a newsgroup. If you feel like you need to fire back, do so only once. Posts really deteriorate the second or third time in a flame war and no one looks good. I hate to think about the number of .gaffa lurkers who may have unsubscribed or the newcomers chased off over the last week. (Actually, I was mildly disappointed in the cooling off. I do have a nice little post ready for Cynthia the next time she sparks a flame war!) Happy content: Since no one else seems to have do so, I posted the FAQ and a short note to rec.music.folk. The result is, that it sounds _very_ much like the song "Sheba", sung by Maggie Riley on Mike Oldfield's "QE2" album, which was released in 1980. It's not BVs, but the main voice. A whole song with 'lyrics' of this kind. Also, it doesn't only have one line, but some variations of it. Unfortunately the album doesn't have a lyrics sheet. :-( :-) If someone has this album at hand, give that song a listen and let me know what you think about it. "sana-nana-raga-gannamu" !
