Ooh!! I didn't get to hear this, but joe did! this morning WXPN played "feed the fire"! I *still* have not heard any happy on the radio :(. :P :P :P joe calls WXPN in the morning "all rumple radio" :) i'm just either not awake in the morning, or not near enough to philly to get the station. :P :P ah well. soon, hopefully, that will change! If you grafted Natalie Merchant's head onto Throwing Muses, wouldn't the resultant centrifugal force act like a sling and spray Muses all over the audience? That was an interesting analogy, woj. Makes me want to try them out again. Anybody heard the new Sugarcubes album? I assume it's out, and we just don't have it in the station yet... Also, Kevin said Happy got a quote in CMJ- but I forgot to ask which issue. Anybody know which one? I can check in the station on Tuesday, but my curiosity isn't wanting to wait that long. :) *---------------------------------------------* | Meredith Tarr | | *** | | "Living in the gap between past and future" | | *** | | mtarr@eagle.wesleyan.edu | *---------------------------------------------* ======================================================================== From: kyrlidis@athena.mit.edu Subject: Sarah McL on MTV! Date: Mon, 24 Feb 92 01:17:37 EST Hi, there I was flipping channels in a commercial break of Star Trek TNG, and I see a face that is somewhat familiar, talking to the host of 120 minutes, about mud. I remembered the vague descriptions of a mud bath video that Greg gave, and thought, could this be her? Indeed MTV aired the video for 'Into the fire'. Quite a video that is. Of course I missed the exciting conclusion of Star Trek, (I am sure they syrvived their memory loss...I wonder what caused it, and why) :-( Still it was worth it. Looking forward to seeing it again. Yeah, it's really a great way to spend your time (or hours at work in my case). On friday I found Jessica, Vickie & Angelos logged in, so that I joined them happily. The log-file I made told me later that I had been online for nearly two hours! Time flies when you're having fun! While we are talking about it, here is a pre-announcement: be sure to be on the KaTe-TalK server on the afternoon (EST) of the 28th of March! I'll take care that the European Ecto Party will be there! (details about the EEP tomorrow!) We now have some more of the pictures Claudia took while in the States. Some of them show a bunch of Ectophiles enjoying themselves in Boston and New York City. They came out quite well. So, who could and would do scans of them? I do have a scanner here, but it's only black&white with 200dpi and 16 shades. Not well suited for colour pics. See you later ... ...
