DGC moulded Nirvana somewhat into the perfect indie-cred-meets-the-mainstream pop band, but now Nirvana have excercised their contractual right to bite back. They tossed out producer Butch Vig, replaced him with metalmeister Steve Albini (yep, he who wreaked havoc on PJ Harvey... :-) and have come up with an album that's had to be remixed twice already to even come close to what the populace at large expect from Nirvana, corporate indie rock gods. I think they might have a keyboardist too.
