Personally, I find it way over the top. And now it's gone. It just feels... weird. The "fascinating facts" at the bottom are truly chilling when you consider all those tons of materials are now lying in a pile on the ground... I just saw video on ABC taken by a freelance cameraman who managed to get access to the site this afternoon and follow some firefighters around. The footage from inside the World Financial Center really got to me, as my company does some work for American Express so I know people who work(ed) in that building. I haven't heard of their welfare yet and I'm kind of worried. The stories are starting to come in ... news that a regular poster to the Dent Tori Amos forum was one of the victims ... a friend of a navy-souper was on one of the planes that hit the towers ... I fear these are just going to multiply in the coming days. ======================================= Meredith Tarr New Haven, CT USA mailto:meth@smoe.org http://www.smoe.org/meth "things are more beautiful when they're obscure" -- veda hille ======================================= Live At The House O'Muzak House Concert Series http://www.smoe.org/meth/muzak.html ------------------------------ End of ecto-digest V7 #258 **************************
