This tour marks the first time since 1994 that Amos has played live without a band. The 30-date jaunt will play theaters and other small venues in major markets throughout North America, ending in San Diego on Nov. 20. Amos is scheduled to play Union Chapel in London on Aug. 30 as well. Rufus Wainwright is on board to support Amos on the early part of the tour for roughly a month of dates. Tickets for several of the shows will be on sale later this week in a special Internet presale for members of the Tori Amos fan club (www.toriamos.com).
