By the way, if anyone wants an MP3 of Tori Amos' versions of "Strange Little Girl" (The Stranglers), "'97 Bonnie and Clyde" (Eminem), or "Heart of Gold" (Neil Young), go here: http://www.mts.net/~cooling/ Anyway, I often love other people's reinterpretations of songs. Tori has done some amazing covers. One cover I can think of in particular is The Cure's "Lovesong", which she does beautifully. Snake River Conspiracy also covered it, and believe me, the song took on a completely different twisted and obsessive meaning. I love Holly McNarland's cover of "In The Air Tonight"... I don't like The Beatles very much, but I have heard some amazing covers of their songs by other bands, like Godhead does "Eleanore Rigby"...then the song seems to have more meaning... At least, to me it does. I like to see what artists can do, what meaning or twist they can give to a song, or how they interpreted it. I'm kinda disappointed that this isn't an album of new material, but hey, it's more Tori that I don't have. :) There will always be more albums of new material, unless something catastrophic happens. And, there will always be b-sides. Yay!
