Pravatiner" Subject: Antje As I write this, I am listening to the second album by Chicago singer-songwriter Antje. She is superb--I can think of no way to elaborate on this. Her music is the product of diverse influence, and should be pleasing to ectophiles everywhere. If there is ever a Center Coast Ectofest, I'd love to see her on the program. You can get her albums, _Big Open Sky_ and _Simply Being Cleopatra_, through her website, www.sweetpicklemusic.com . Some samples of her music are also available there. I found out today that the very first advance reservation was made just this afternoon, so it doesn't sound like there's going to be very many people there. This would really be a shame -- it's Mila's first real gig in CT outside of ectofest, and it would be cool to get some people through the door. I know a few ectophiles are already planning on going, but if you're not one of them and you're in the area and you're looking for something to do tomorrow, I'd recommend you join us. The info is at http://www.acousticafe.com. If transportation is an issue, I'd be willing to make a run to the Fairfield train station. Just let me know. ======================================= Meredith Tarr New Haven, CT USA mailto:meth@smoe.org http://www.smoe.org/meth "things are more beautiful when they're obscure" -- veda hille ======================================= Live At The House O'Muzak House Concert Series http://www.smoe.org/meth/muzak.html ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 16 Jun 2001 01:44:42 -0400 From: veronica of silence Subject: Re: And yet more october/november/december project news At 06:35 PM 6/14/01 -0500, Joseph Zitt wrote: >On Thu, Jun 14, 2001 at 05:45:29PM -0400, dave wrote: >> The word now is that Julie and Emil will be teaming up with Marina >> Belica for their next project.
