Stumbling across Cyndi Lauper on Letterman just now reminded me of another new Christmas themed CD some ectophiles might want to check out: it's called _Merry Christmas, Have A Nice Life_. I've only heard the one song she just played, which was cool (vintage Cyndi), and unfortunately I missed a chance to hear it at my friend's house the other night. I plan to pick it up as soon as I can, though. Anybody else have this? +==========================================================================+ | Meredith Tarr meth@smoe.org | | New Haven, CT USA http://www.smoe.org/~meth | +==========================================================================+ | U.S.A. Gad, I've never seen such a collection of sociopaths in one place before, except maybe in the US House of Representatives. Well, I just found out that the someone who snagged the poster snagged it for *me* and I'm anxiously awaiting it's arrival in my snailmail.. :) It's SO great to have wonderful friends, you know? As you might be able to guess by mail address, I know a bit about this poll... More then a bit in fact - I wrote the application. Anyway, by all means vote early, and even often, but please *please* do not set up autovoters. If the editors at People suspect 'bot activity they will either have me pull all votes out of the database, or I or someone on my staff will have to go through the logs and try to figure out which votes are real and which aren't, which is a major pain. Not to mention that the program itself traps fluries of votes from the same IP address. By the way, for what it's worth, when I was testing the program the first vote I placed was for Tori. She had the number one spot and the database all to herself for about 4 hours :) - Larne [Speaking off the record, but just between us, please knock some of those wrestlers off the board...] ------------------------------ End of ecto-digest V4 #447 **************************
