"Hearts" is post-epic; it's off Yes' 90125. "Endless Dream" is credited to Trevor Rabin and Jon Anderson, but since it isn't on any of the Yes albums I've got, I'm assuming it's on one of the first two. "I Sleep Alone," according to the liner notes from *The Keep,* is from Trevor Rabin's pre-Yes days in Rabbitt, but I don't know anything else about it. The medley seems to be Happy's challenge to see how many *real* die-hard Yes fans there are out there. Maybe it's because I work in live theatre, but I find that I love music, but cannot stand any video medium--tv, film, etc. I was raised as a musician and a live performer, and the distance made by the celluloid just grates on me. It, Jonatha Brooke's new one, Emm Gryner, and the new Autour de Lucie (can't quite get into this one..i'm trying) have been rotating in my cd player for the past week or so. :) - -Jennifer Kimball: I could ask this on dog-dreams, but I'll do it here: I've heard and liked one song off the EP--what's she like? What's in the works? - -Dar: opinions on the Internet-only EP? Sounds great...? Yes? Email me if you can help w/ any of my ramblings... :) Thanks! (I just want to check one thing -- their name is spelled > correctly in the book, right? :} You should definitely give them a copy! Um, er, um, no. it isn't. You were right to check though, since Mr can't-spell-worth-a-damn here didn't notice it was mispelled, and could easily have done that himself. Especially after that Kinks/Kings thing earlier. But no, it is consistantly spelt Neilds in the book. So, I don't know if that will make it more infuriating than cool, though I'd still think it's more on the cool side. If you haven't posted it yet, I wouldn't mind you waiting a few weeks, only because I'd love to surprise them with the book cold. Do they read/contribute to the list or have people feed them stuff off of it? Patty Griffin was awesome tonight! I think I'd better go to bed.
