Special props to >Morris Acevedo, the guitar player. I saw the show and enjoyed it a lot (my first visit to Hotel Utah - nice intimate place). 4 Walls Bending is one I like a lot. Velvet Eye was very good. I enjoyed the one that had the sample-and-hold-like filter hook. I liked them all, actually. I thought the drummer was a bit too loud and "in his own world" at times - I guess it can be hard to control the volume when you don't have a volume knob. The bass player is absolutely incredible - he is so well synched (timing and harmonically) to Emily's playing. Does he play with anyone else? (I can only assume that he would be sought out by other musicians as excellent as Emily.) ...Tim Thompson...tjt@nosuch.com... ------------------------------ End of dream-gasoline-digest V2 #6 **********************************
