Hey there, I'm brand new to the list (obviously) and a new fan of Dido's. Her name actually popped up quite a few times on the Beth Orton mailing list a year or so ago, but for some reason I never checked her out. Well, now I can see what all the hype is about. I can't remember where I first heard Dido, but I do know that it was "Thankyou" that caught my attention (it is also, my favorite song right now). Aside from all the Dido praise, I'll provide a little bit of info about myself. My name is Jennifer and I'm an 18-year old college student from Los Angeles. I'm studying to (hopefully) become a graphic designer, but we'll see where my interests lie in the future. Other artists that I'm interested in?....Beth Orton is a biggie, I'm starting to get into David Gray (I see a British theme going on here), Travis, Guster, Kara's Flowers (an awesome L.A. band. They're on Napster check 'em out), Aimee Mann, Counting Crows, Jewel, among many more. That's it about moi. I'm looking forward to my time on the this list and I hope to get to know many of you! - -Jen- "I can resist everything except temptation."
