She's there again tonight, for any of you in the DC area who aren't already planning to go. It's a really nice venue and the sound there is always terrific. She's playing some great new songs too! I also wanted to note that tomorrow (Sunday), is Catie's birthday, so if you happen to be going to her show in NC tomorrow (details below), you could wish her a happy birthday or bring a little gift (it's a free show!)! It's called "It's a Wonder"...is this a Catie song or did someone else write it? I can't find it on any of Catie's cds, although admittedly I am a new fan and don't have all that many. ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 21 May 2005 13:27:36 -0700 From: raven@igc.org Subject: Re: [dads-yard] Catie Question At 11:14 AM 05/21/2005, chris erikson wrote: > > It's called "It's a Wonder"...is this a Catie song > or did someone else write it? Catie does have a fairly new song called "It's a Wonder", she sang it in Northampton on 28 Sept 2004. > I can't find it on any of Catie's cds, although admittedly > I am a new fan and don't have all that many. As far as I know, it's not yet on CD. Catie's music is special, I've been seeing her live for years, first saw her when she was still living in San Francisco and opened for Ferron at the famous Fillmore, this was when Ferron was still with a large band and on Warners. Welcome to Catie's music! - -- John ------------------------------ End of dads-yard-digest V7 #17 ******************************
