Hi everybody... Can anyone point me to some links that would give great information for events happening in and around boston/provincetown around the end of June? I have been looking and found some good Ptown stuff, but for someone not familiar at ALL with boston, the web info is a tad bit overwhelming. I'll only be staying there a couple of days, but I'd sure like to make the best of it... Thanks!!! Ready to travel! I suggest Club Passim if you are interested in music, it's my favorite club: Also TT the Bears, though I spend less time there: I don't have any museum hints to give you, though Boston is full of many museums, in fact you could spend all your time in museums for several days... I lived there over 30 years ago for three years and was in museums all the time. For shopping (or just looking) you will probably have the most fun at Harvard Square (that's also where Club Passim is located)... just take your time, go slowly or you will miss some great shops, some of them are fairly well hidden until you adjust to this place ... and TT the Bears is a walk of a few blocks, in Central Square, I think. And of course Harvard University is worth walking around, it is famous... Boston has 30+ colleges and universities, most are old, the whole area is fascinating to me. I was there for a week in Dec 2003 and spent almost all my time in the Harvard Square area, there are shops galore to keep you busy, and at night you must go to Club Passim... I was there almost every night. - -- John ------------------------------ End of dads-yard-digest V6 #42 ******************************
