The highlights of hearing catie play for me were: well for one i hadn't seen her play live since she opened for dar on the first show of their tour together (that was in VT), i thought this concert was much more happy and silly and fun secondly she played all the songs i was hoping she would, magnolia st for my friend steven elizabeth, cause its my moms favorite song in the world thirdly, memphis- this is the song i dance around my room too (she took a poll of the crowd for the encore, it was either this or kiss that counted. she did both!) ALSO that she did the rollerskate song and ani's joyful girl i know she also covered a morphine song, and she told lots of stories that were silly, i think she made lots of new fans, at least i hope she did, that way she will come back to asheville. well i don't know what else i can say about it, except that it was very special to me. My mom has been out of the country for a few months and she just got back and we decided we had to go to this show, my mom likes catie more than anyone i know, so this was very special for her, which made it even MORE special for me...... can you tell it was great? :) Charlotte ------------------------------ End of dads-yard-digest V5 #36 ******************************
