I had contacted Deb to ask if it would be fine with Catie if I proceeded with this project and we got Catie's wink (she can't officially approve this) today. Here's the set ist: Catie Curtis at Handle Bar/Greenville, SC 2/25/00 Disk One 1. 100 Miles 2. Memphis 3. Don't Lay Down 4. Radical 5. Wise To The Way 6. Larry 7. Slave To My Belly 8. Jane 9. What's The Matter Disk Two 1. intro 2. I'll Cover You 3. Soulfully 4. Roses 5. Kiss That Counted 6. I Don't Cry Anymore 7. Dad's Yard 8. World Don't Owe Me 9. Magnolia Street 10. Burn Your Own House Down 11. Wolf 12. Troubled Mind (best-of sort of concert except no Elizabeth -- darn.) So here's the deal. I need ten volunteer branches from the US who have CD burner to burn a set for three leave. If there are more demand for the boot, some of the leave may be able to become a branch. We will see. So if you are interested in either becoming a branch (you need a CD burner and a little time) or being a leaf, please e-mail me privately (masakimail2@c omcast.net) and please indicate whether you are a branch or a leaf in the subject part of the e-mail If there are more than 10 branch volunteers, I will place extra as a leaf/branch person and will contact later on if their service is needed. I already burned ten set and ready to mail them out. Besides, these ten US volunteers, I will need additional volunteers from other countries (Europa, etc...) If you are from countries other than US, please indicate name of your country in the Subject part of the e-mail along with whether you are a branch or a leaf. I will e-mail a list of leave to each branches and a name of your branch to each leave as I receive the request. As to how each branches handle the payment to cover the cost of the two CDs, envelop and mailing from the leaf will be up to each branches. What I found to be the simplest way to do is to ask the leaf to send me number of US postage stamps to cover the cost (around 7 to 8 thirty-seven-cent stamps to cover the CDs. Envelop and mailing cost - -- I got CDs at very low price) and as soon as I receive the stamps, I ship out the CDs . This way the leaf doesn't have to mail two CDs and self-addressed, stamped enveloped to me to have them burned and sent back. Takes shorter time and cost less. I just want to stress that only money involve in this transaction is the cost of material and mailing -- no profit!!! I will not have time to do the insert. When I receive you request, I will e-mail you back with the set list and a disclaimer and other information you need. The disclaimer is to protect Catie. If some branches wish to do the insert, it's up to them. So if you are interested in either becoming a branch or a leaf, please e-mail me PRIVATELY as soon as you have a chance. I will set May 15th as a cut-off date for the request for now.
