Right now, it's still tentative. They need a minimum of 8 folks to have the workshop go. It will be for 4 hours, 10am - 2pm on Saturday, January 25 and it will cost $40. If there are enough folks that attend, there may be a sliding scale available. Just think, though, only $10 an hour to get tips from Catie! For reservations and details, contact Jenny Burtis at jennyburtis@lycos.com. She needs to know ASAP...so don't wait to RSVP!! Please..DO NOT CONTACT ME...regarding this event...I'm just your messenger of opportunity! ;) As luck would have it, I happened to be moving that day and will miss the workshop myself! I do plan on attending Foley's that evening and Henfling's on Monday, though...tired, but there! ;) Heather ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 17 Jan 2003 14:45:18 -0500 From: Mark Katsouros Subject: Re: [dads-yard] Songwriting workshop with Catie in SF Bay Area Man, I would love to attend such an event. If there's ever one in the Baltimore/DC area (that includes Catie, of course), please let us know! He's goodgoot at surprises. Of course, that was when we lived in Berkeley. Boston might be too bischlepphlep. Maura O'Connell does a beautiful cover of it (as she does with everything). Has anyone spotted Maura in "Gangs of New York"? I haven't seen the film yet. BTW, would anybody out there be willing to get a copy of the new Lori McKenna CD for me? She is selling it only at shows for now. Drat. She seems unlikely to come to Texas.
