Apparently the program decided to stop recording sound and just record nothing after about 90 mins of music. But I do have 90 fantastic minutes of music--the quality is amazing. So let me know if there is an interest in getting this recording out on the web. Have a good night! I'll ask my husband, see if he knows. I being a bad Jew and going tonight. I'll record the concert the low tech way, on audio cassette. I'll let y'all know how it sounds. Passim is not generally the best place to boot shows, with waitstaff coming in and out etc. Joy Elyse - --- EliseL1383@aol.com wrote: > OK, so I lied. I've had such mixed feelings about everything that's happened. I am not especially patriotic, but I'm happy to be in the US because I don't think anywhere would be any better. I have an aversion to being so patriotic and I think it's because that makes me feel like people are simplfying things too much...that issues become black and white when they aren't even just shades of gray but shades of rainbows. I do appreciate that US flags have a renewed interest right now and have become a sign of unity, I hate that some businesses are being opportunist, a local hardware store was charging $60 for a US 3x5 flag. I'm very sad about how things are, but hope that things find their balance again. As much as I look forward to that balance, I fear that we will loose the compassion that I have noticed in the last week, that people who have been more mindful of their treatment of others will return to what it once was. I believe people need to stay mindful in all that they do, reassess continually to ensure that you live you life as you intend to.
