Subject: [dads-yard] A list... help.

A woman I work with is interested in folk music.  Me, too.  >smile<  She has 
not heard of many of the incredible female singers out there.  I decided i 
will put together a cd of singers for her.  I wanted mostly folk.. but, 
really any singer/songwriter female will work.  I want artist who are still 
releasing, and are pretty relevant.  So she knows what is out there.  I have 
decided to call the cd, 'Flinty Kind of Women'. (dar williams' flinty kind of 
womany' is already added)
I need 17 female/singer/songwriters for someone who is searching for great 
music.
Looking for ideas.

Ok, I admit, it started as just my favorites, but quickly snowballed into a 
list of every female singer songwriter I own an album of.  But I must say, I 
love every single one of them!  Some of them I'm not sure I could give a 
certain song to recommend.  Does anyone out there who knows any of these 
artists have any favorites by them?

Send along your final playlist, I always like to hear new artists.
