Regarding the five songs: I would want to hear at least one number from Crash. If with the full band, one of the more swinging songs, such as Fall Away or World Don't Owe Me would be nice. This is an interesting comment, because when I made up my top5, I was surprised not to find songs from CCIR among them. It's one of my favorite Catie albums (right up there with the eponymous release), but I guess it doesn't have sings that stand above the rest for me like the 5 I put together from the earlier releases. On another note: your pleas have been heard, and the load time for the Web site should be lessened now. - -- Deb \\ indigo@mindspring.com \\ http://www.mindspring.com/~indigo ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 16 Jul 2001 12:53:34 -0500 (CDT) From: Megan Peterson Subject: [dads-yard] 5 songs I couldn't resist throwing in my list, although I think most of these have already been mentioned. I'd love to hear Troubled Mind, Soulfully, Falling Silent in the Dark, Memphis, 100 Miles (my fave on CCIR), and for #6--since it's not actually her song, I thought I could go one over--I'd like to concur with whomever mentioned the Waterboys cover, "Fisherman's Blues"--it just has such great energy. But, I think its pretty difficult to pick only five songs when they're all so good. joan - --- Rob Litowitz wrote: > Hey All: > > Eagerly anticipating Aug 21. > > Regarding the five songs: > > I would want to hear at least one number from Crash. > If with the full band, one of the more swinging > songs, such as Fall Away or World Don't Owe Me would > be nice. > > Rob > > >>> Deb 07/16/01 11:12AM >>> > If she were only to play 5 songs from previous > albums: > > Soulfully > Memphis > Don't Cry Anymore > Troubled Mind (preferably with Kris Delmhorst ) > Radical > > -- > Deb \\ indigo@mindspring.com \\ http://www.mindspring.com/~indigo Get personalized email addresses from Yahoo!
