I recently purchased easy CD creator platinum (adaptec) to copy some audio cassettes I have to WAV files. I'm able to create a WAV file, but the sound is very poor (static and distortion). The original tapes are good quality and it sounds fine on preview, but not when I playback the WAV file on winamp. My soundcard is a soundblaster pro, but its about 7 years old. Do you think I need a new soundcard? thanks, joan Yahoo!
