Waiting for August to come for the new cd...... time to go to go work with the dogs- kara (congrats on the new addition Deb) :) ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 30 Apr 2001 12:04:26 -0700 From: "Ortiz, Ralph" Subject: [none] Isn't "Roadfoods" a Cosy Sheridan song? I can't remember if Catie did it at one of her shows or if it was Lucy Kaplansky. It's on her 1994 release called Saturn Return. She was at Washington University in St. Louis last night with Sam Shaber doing a show for the Acoustic City Concert Series. She played "Roadfood" toward the end of her set. I know Catie Curtis has covered the song before, but I'm not sure about Lucy Kaplansky. It's a possibility. Just a small plug for Cosy - if you have not seen her live or don't own one of her cds, do yourself a favor and pick one up or catch her next show. I'm sure there are other people on this list who would help me out in praise for her songwriting and performing abilities. Do yourself a favor and listen to her - she'll make you feel good. take care, QR ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 30 Apr 2001 19:17:22 EDT From: Mail2masa@aol.com Subject: [dads-yard] Re: Road Foods & Cosy Sheridan Yes, thr "Road Foods" is by Cosy Sheridan and is one of the Catie's cover. You can go to Mark's stealth site and under Paramount/Denver, you will find the song performed by Catie.
