I recently posted this request to the Christine Lavin list, for ideas for a project I am doing in the school system I work in. I am collecting poems and songs that teachers can use in their classrooms, either as intricate elements of lessons on various topics, or just a simple addition to add a little "spice" or variety in introducing a lesson, or wrapping one up. I have created an online "conference", basically a folder people open on their desktop to read about this topic. Since it is new, I'd like to post ideas to it to get it going. I already thought of "Hole in the Bucket" and "Radical" (for dealing with issues of those in need and the lack/cutting of services for those in need, and gay tolerance and understanding). Are lyrics found on her website? If anyone has any ideas of other Catie songs I could post about, I would REALLY appreciate it. Posting any songs OTHER than Catie's would be off-topic, so you might want to email me any non-Catie songs privately. But I know we talk about artists we think Catie fans would like, so use your discretion. I would love to share in the fun, but don't want to annoy anyone with lots of OT posts.
