I think it was years to hours. Does > anyone know if that is available anywhere? Yeah, it is called From years to hours and you can get it from www.folkweb.com As for asking Catie to re-release Dandelion, well I asked her last year when she was over in London how and where I could get a copy from and she told me not to bother looking for it...that it isn't very good!! She mentioned that there are only about 2 songs that are okay, but didn't elaborate as to which ones they were. I have a boot of the Dandelion album that I'll dub for people. A big public thanks to Meg for my copy! :-) I also have an excellent quality (if I may say so myself as I booted it!) boot of Catie's show in London last March that I'll dub for interested parties. She performed a few of the new songs - Jane, Kiss that counted, Patience. Merry Christmas to you all! I've been barely lurking for a awhile, life can be so crazy!!!!!! ANyway, I'm responding to Joan's question about Years to Hours. I bought it about a year ago at HMV in Harvard Sq. Cambridge MA. I was surprised to find it because I thought that it was no longer available, but I was wrong, there were lots of copies. :) So, it's around, just keep your eye out. Peace and happy holidays, Jody ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 24 Dec 2000 20:24:12 -0000 From: "Amy Kelly" Subject: Re: [dads-yard] ATTENTION CATIE! thought about Dandelion As for asking Catie to re-release Dandelion, well I asked her last year when she was over in London how and where I could get a copy from and she told me not to bother looking for it...that it isn't very good!! ATTENTION CATIE! Dandelion is a BEAUTIFUL album! Please know that those songs mean a lot to SO many people who have loved your music since your earlier days. I know Dandelion was a different style of music, but those songs are so full of emotion, and they are just precious to many of us. A friend of mine is in a similar situation. The first CD of her old band is on Arista and is sold out. But, despite the small demand for it, the label won't re-release it, and my friend can't afford to buy the master, much less the copyrights for the songs. In any case, it doesn't matter how much you and I would like to have a copy of Dandelion. If Catie doesn't like it, then I would much rather she put her time, energy, and money into making new records for us to enjoy. It's copyrighted material, this isn't like booting a show, so unless I knew it was ok with the artist, I won't do it.
