Those of us out here on the west cost (especially Seattle) just seem to miss out on so much. I'm happy to trade or reimburse for the expense. By the way has anyone listened to Aerin Tedesco? She is fantastic! I bought one of her CD's from her after she performed on the open mic stage at Michigan this last summer. She is well worth a listen! There are samples of her music on her site. The other performer I love that I discovered at Michigan is Ellis. I'm not sure if she has a web site, but her cd is self titled. Well worth it! I've known Aerin for 3 years or more - we've shared many a stage in many different settings (I guested on lead guitar on 'colorblind' on her 'Angels & Allegories' cd) and I never cease to be amazed by her musical talent and her way with words. It's nice to see a good friend gaining recognition...... Currently receiving a lot of play in my cd players are Erin McKeown's "Monday Morning Cold' and "Distillation' cds along with 'Some Other Thing' by Christine Havrilla - thanks to Deb Woodell for the latter.... I'm kinda curious about the longer list now. That's one of my favorite things to know about musicians.
