Hi Deb. I know it's been a while, sorry for not keeping in touch. Secondly Hi List! I have a song that you won't have heard that I play on the way to college just to remind me why I'm doing it. It was launched last night by a close friend of mine, Marisa Yeaman. It's called "Fire in your Heart" & it was written by Marisa for 2 Australian guys - brothers ( one with Leukemia) who set a record for skiing the length of the Mississippi to raise money for research & support in both Australia & US. What inspires me is the energy with which it is played and the words in the bridge & last chorus : "You may feel broken You may feel tired You may have lost sight of the fire inside When you're think'n that you can't go on The spirit still has wings...... Never give in Never say die Never say never - there's a conqueror inside Ordinary people do amazing things If there's a fire in your heart - gotta keep it - gotta keep it Burning till you win.... Deb your copy of the CD should be on the way & we're still pushing for Marisa & Sonia to play on the 22nd lets all hope it comes off. And for the others sorry you'll have to order your own copies from www.marisayeaman.com Well I've rambled on enough & it's probably due to the fact that I have an assignment that I should be doing...... Thank's for reading Robyn ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 10 Sep 2000 15:50:35 -0700 From: RAVEN@igc.org Subject: [dads-yard] Dar/Catie/Toshi in SanFran For any SF Bay Area Catie-fans, tickets went on-sale today for the OCT 11 Warfield show... it's not on the Warfield website (at least not as of five minutes ago), but TicketMaster has the tickets available on-line... see: I've got mine, front row, lower loge, next to the soundboard. :) See you there!
