Tara is college age and now her Mom is into some of the same music. Dana Hey Dana, I just wanted to share with you that Tara called us last week from the FalconRidge Folk Festival and actually asked us if we would join her there this year. I couldn't believe it! We explained that this year I worked that weekend so hopefully next year I would have it off and might just do that. On Thursday night, Dan, me and a friend of ours went to Mamaroneck, NY to the Emelin Theater to see Catie Curtis. She was great. I was to happy to see and hear her play Dad's Yard. I'm so glad you introduced me to her music. Teddy Goldstein had opened for her and he is someone that we had seen before and we knew he was good. Funny thing was ... was that Teddy had this gal Edie Carey join him for one song and Edie was someone that had bonded with Tara at FalconRidge, so when we saw her at the break we mentioned it to her and introduced ourselves ... She said how sweet Tara is! ... Seems like all of these folk singers are close knit and very supportive of each other and their fans. Teddy and Sam Shaber are playing in the Acoustic Cafe in the Black Rock section of Bridgeport on Saturday and we are planning on taking a few friends there too!
