Hmmm...I haven't gotten this one yet, but I guess I'm going to have to get it soon with that recommendation! Now listening to the following in rotation: Nields--If You Lived Here, You'd Be Home Now--I bought this one strictly for "I'm so Lonesome I Could Cry" and I love it. Richard Shindell--Somewhere Near Patterson--This is my favorite Richard CD by far. Favorite tracks: Spring and Calling the Moon Susan Werner--Time Between Trains--So it's not new, but I still love this CD. The title track is a favorite, but I love every song on this disc. Melissa Ferrick--Freedom I can't say enough about Melissa. If she ever is appearing live anywhere near you, see her! Shows you should kick yourself for missing: Any of the most recent Dar Williams solar energy benefit shows. I saw one here in Albany. She has a bunch of new material from an upcoming album to be released this summer, and she seemed to be in fine form. Shows I kick myself for missing: The Nields at the Eighth Step last Saturday night. It was a toss up between going to see Melissa Ferrick and them. I opted for Melissa Ferrick, but from what I heard, I missed an amazing show. Ah well. I'll have to console myself at Falcon Ridge!
