Since last summer when I got her album at Falcon Ridge I have been listening most often to Mary Gauthier, with Sonia Rutstein in close second place. I go through weeks that seem to feature Catie, Dar, Ferron, or Janis Ian. The last three weeks have had the Indigo Girls at the top of my personal chart. Vance Gilbert also has a new live album. But Catie gets extra points for doing backups on Mary's CD. I kick myself for only being able to get tickets for one of Catie's two Tin Angel shows this winter, and more recently for missing Sonia's two shows in Washington, weekend before last. Mary however was performing at exactly the same time. Going back to last year, I sadly missed a Fred Small concert. Well, I for one, wish I could be there. I remember sort of being in a trance the one time I heard Deb play Ellis Paul's She Loves a Girl (last year's performance???) Knock em off their feet again, Deb. - -T ------------------------------ End of dads-yard-digest V2 #29 ******************************
