I see she's playing Thursday, June 22 at Villa Montalvo...very cool. Checked Villa's schedule and see Mary Chapin Carpenter is playing there June 22 & 23, so seems as though Catie will be an opener for her pal...I was hoping they booked her on her own...oh well, it's still a cool bill. May have to fork up the big bucks for that one! Heather ps: by the way Masaki, which service do you get your updates from, I'm on a couple of updates but never seem to get stuff...maybe I'll just have to resubscribe. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 03 Apr 2000 21:09:14 -0400 From: Deb Subject: Re: [dads-yard] Deb is fast At 04:24 AM 4/1/00 , Jo Norvelle Walker wrote: >It's been what? less than a week, and already Catie is handing out >dads-yard@smoe.org business cards -- I'm impressed! LOL! I do the same thing for my Melissa Ferrick and Laura Love lists, it's a nice way to find fans that would be interested in a list but don't know how to find one outside of eGroups or ONElist (now one and the same...). Catie was a real sweetheart when I introduced myself at the Barns of Wolf Trap, and was more than happy to take the cards on the road with her. >It was so good to see Jimmy back! And the band is much better than when >they first began to play together. They were great at the Barns, but you know what? No slight to Jimmy, because he's *wonderful*, but I actually enjoyed the Birchmere show a few months ago a bit more (probably more for Kris Delmhorst's contribution than Sean's on mandolin, but they were both great). How wonderful that Catie has *so many* talented folks to work with! >Catie was wearing her Texaco shirt and glasses. The shirt I've seen >before, but the glasses were new to my remembrance. Likewise at the Barns. - -- Deb \\ indigo@mindspring.com \\ http://www.mindspring.com/~indigo ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 03 Apr 2000 23:15:34 -0400 From: "carrie hardin" Subject: [dads-yard] Melissa Ferrick Sorry for the non Catie content, i just wanted to announce that Melissa Ferrick is playing at Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, Virginia this Friday April 7th.
