As you've probably noticed, Zombieguide has been unavailable for the past few days, and as I was beginning to suspect that it was because they hadn't been paid. I inquired to OLM (our hosting company) and they informed me that there is a $260 outstanding bill for server fees, something that I don't have the immediate cash to pay for. John Armijo, Zombieguide's founder, has been generously paying for the server since we had our own server (early '99), even though he only uses part of it for his own personal uses. He had talked to me back in January or so about transferring the entire site to me (domain, server fees, everything), and I told him that I was receptive to that idea, but I haven't seen or heard from him since. He's been on the move for the last few months, and don't have any of his current contact info (phone or address, I only have his email). OLM has also given me the option of paying for the outstanding fees as well as monthly fees (approx. $60/month), but again, I don't know that I can meet that amount. So the future of ZG, at least for the immediate time being, is uncertain. I've been fortunate so far that Zombieguide has taken relatively little of my own funds, so this is a sudden blow. I of course want to continue it, but I'm not sure how it's going to happen at the moment. But don't worry (too much)... Zombieguide will be back in someform, somehow. I'm hopeful that deus ex machina, God will send a way. This is just to let you know what's going on with the site (if it matters).... thanks for taking the time to read! Anyone who wants to contact me can do so at crangvy@charter.net since my ZG email went with the server. - -Alex Zombieguide.com....
