Mind you, I'd never spend 2.3 hours downloading another band's album anyway. At 4:47 PM +1000 31/8/01, Johannes Schmidt wrote: >I'm quite surprised with The Concept. Yeah, and I could be wrong but I think that loop sounds a lot like something from an Eminem song I've heard. (I don't actually like Eminem but my sister made me play some Eminem mp3s while on a long trip.) There's another song which sounds like a Dido song right at the beginning, but I can't think which one it is at the moment. Overall, I love the new album... I would pick out a favourite but each time I listen to a song I remember how much I liked that one, so I decide that perhaps the one I thought was my favourite isn't the best after all. The first one I heard was Never Grow Old, and that's the one I think of immediately as being my favourite song, but each of the other songs is so good too. I love them all! :) Is anyone able to make an mp3 of the Analyse Oceanic remix? - -- Angela Brett angela@kagi.com http://acronyms.co.nz/ "Even though Mac Users may be only 10% of the market, always remember that we are the TOP 10%" --Douglas Adams ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 06 Sep 2001 10:27:55 -0400 From: Brett Subject: Re: %Cran: New album At 10:33 PM 9/6/2001 +1200, Angela Brett wrote: >I just got a CD writer today, so the first thing I did was make a CD of >WUASTC (plus some other cransongs I didn't have on CD previously.) :) I >will still buy the official CD when it comes out though, although I >probably wouldn't do that with other bands. I'm impressed with this album. I really didn't like the last two albums much just because they weren't very good in general (in my opinion). This album reminds me a lot of the first two albums, which is a good thing. My favourite songs are Dying Inside, Pretty Eyes, and Do You Know. The rest are good, but those 3 are my current favourites. Chocolate Brown is cool too, although it's a little weird. But it's nice to finally have a new Cranberries album that I can repeatedly listen to, just like the first two albums. :) - -Brett ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 07 Sep 2001 13:39:34 +1000 From: Joe Schmidt Subject: %Cran: analyse release date Hi all, Just called Universal Music, and the Australian release date for Analyse is 17 September, and the album is 15 October. Apparently the album date is subject to change but the single should stay as is. Cheers, Johannes. ------------------------------ End of cranlist-digest V4 #51 *****************************
