Hi Alex!, I don4t think he was talking about your site, but he was talking about another one that wants to sell cranstuff as main reason of existence, lol :o).- I do think, he speaks about the fact, that this guy seems to post always that same motto "Exclusive News" even if they are normal news taken out from the official website or somewhere else. Let4s face the facts, this guy is not from NME or Hotpress , so the fact of posting that "Exclusive News" all the time is pretty funny, but may be confusing for new members of the list.- Anyway, by this time most of people do know about that, and it is sad, because when he will have some really exclusive news, many people wont go there, because they are already frustrated of not finding anything exclusive in the past, all in all for just abusing of the word "exclusive".- Mailing lists are source of news for websites and websites are source of news for mailing lists, so I don4t think there is a competition between both of them. Almost from the beggining I put a Mailist section on my site because I always tought they are a great way to keep fans informed and together around the world: http://www.angelfire.com/ar/argenberries/mailist.html When I subscribed to this list ( cranlist@smoe.org ) I found it trough the Empty website from Curtis Patterson (no longer available), so in fact, I do think mailing lists are in support for websites and websites are in support for mailing lists. I wish I had helped some members to find this lists trough my site, because this list also helped people find mines.- :o) And thank you for being there around the world taking care about our beloved band The Cranberries!
