Has anyone else? I doubt it, as no one has mentioned anything about receiving the magazines. -Alex - ----Original Message Follows---- From: "James Charlton" To: "Alex Kraus" , Subject: Re: %Cran: Cran Scam Date: Sun, 21 May 2000 02:23:34 +0100 so Alex, you obviously didn`t read the mail I sent to the list earlier this week letting everyone know that all the magazines had been posted out - -----Original Message----- From: Alex Kraus To: cranlist@smoe.org Date: 19 May 2000 21:20 Subject: %Cran: Cran Scam >I know there were a few posts on the list a few weeks ago about this, but >I'm convinced this is a scam. Anyway i was just on the cranberries corporate website, and i just finished watching a snip-it of the 'salvation' video which i had never seen before. And i thought it really sucks that none of my local stations play any cranberries videos. It made me think the cranberries should put all their music videos on one tape so that people could buy it - i know i would. Then i thought hey maybe they already have. can anyone tell me if i'm right. is there a tape with all the cranberries videos on it circulating, if so where could i get a copy? well, ciao. It's a stolen idea (specifically from www.catstevens.com). They have some excellent interpretations of a lot of the songs, some sound nothing like the originals, some are exactly the same. I'd love to administer something like this for the berries, and it would give me a nice project to work on (in what little time I have this year). If you want an idea of what I mean, go to the cat stevens site (above) and go to the "cover songs" section in the "music" menu. I think it's really great! And maybe we (or I) could set up various things that are more fan based, but cran related... sort of like a "tribute" site in the true sense of the word. Let me know what you all think! Cheers, Schmidty. ------------------------------ End of cranlist-digest V3 #118 ******************************
