John Lennon is my second most important idol in my life (after Dolores) and he was a Socialist like me. If they had left the things in Russia fix themself (wich would have certainly would have happened with a leader that wasn't corrupted and that applied the true values of socialism) they would have become far more superior to the USA. Instead, Communism was taken away and people are left trying to make a buck with Capitalism but they just don't know how to compete with such a maximismed competition. I realize that there are some things that I abhor about my country. I realize that it is going to take more than me to ever change that which I want changed for the better. I also realize that hearing insipid, shallow, ignorant and misguided fists of mud slung from an individual who obviously has more better things to do than see people for individuals and not for the country in which they reside disturbs me. I could shout out how I hate and loathe the Chinese for their human rights abuses, I could rant and rave that the Colombians are a bunch of drug running troglodytes or I could say I hate the Irish because they are all drunken idiots, but I refuse to. I refuse to because I see a country is more than their stereotype. I respect all people under this global roof and your pigheaded, xenophobic and self-centered world view doesn't allow for such values. It distresses me to think of what else harbors inside your psyche. I am sure everyone agrees that you keep your negativity out of here and if you cannot, then don't ever consider your words or ideas welcome here. I am sorry to have to post such a non-Cranberries related item here, but I feel justified in standing up for those who felt slighted and offended by jean françois' words. I was one of them. (yeah, I know I'm crazy :)) Hi, Maybe it's a stupid idea, but why don't we get back to the subject of err... what are they called again (it's been some time since they last were subject of this mailinglist :)))... The Cranberries. Yes, that's the band I meant :) Well, I don't really have a good discussion-topic, so why don't we use this one, which is of a very high intellectual level: Which Cranberries-song do you think sounds the best played backwards? My personal favourite is "So Cold In Ireland", but I think "Zombie" sounds pretty cool too. Hmmm... maybe not as intellectual as I thought it would be, but hey, it's better than discussions that belong at a political-and-moral-discussion-list, right? :-) Well, all the best to you all, Ralph O'Neills http://www.noviomagum.com/darkhorse "When I was a child I caught a fleeting glimpse, out of the corner of my eye. (yeah, I know I'm crazy :)) Ohhhhh yessss The Cranberries. I recall them now ;-) the band with that Dolores person singing and some feargal on the drums. Wasn't their also 2 hogan brothers in the band also? :-) I was actually thinking of listening to some cransongs in backards since I heard some freaky (and very cool) stuff about some hidden messages in Beatles songs (and yes, their are actually hidden messages). a few other things that I wanted to try with The Cranberries and that happened with the Bealtes was to find so Cranberries death clues (for those who don,t know, their was this rumour thing of Paul McCartney that died in '66 in a Car accident. Their are some websites about it so If you're interested, you should check them you. Its a nice place to start to find hidden stuff in music). Now, before their's any misunderstanding, I don,t beleive that any of the Crans are dead. I would just see how easy it would be to find some great Cranberries death clues (kinda like a way to put in question all those "clues" that were submited about the paul died thing). I haven't found any of Cranberries clues yet (lol). Other Beatlemaniacs found hidden phone numbers in beatles album cover art but so far, I didn't find any thing with the Cranberries or the beatles records. anyways, I don,t mean to cause any kind of emotion and I hope I didn't piss anyone of (and no, I'm not beeing sarcarstic). bye bye jean¦françois ²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²² ²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²² Jean-François Goyette (Fluoberry) e-mail me at dbgoyet@videotron.ca or ICQ me at 43408869 Cranberries Waltzing Back website: http://pages.infinit.net/fluo1 "To hell with what your thinking, and to hell with your narrow mind.
