Subject: %Cran: Comment on your question about Dolores' lyrics
Hello. I am one of the cranlist members. I'd like to comment on what
you said about Dolores' songs not relating to people as much. She said
that she wrote those songs when she was at home being a "normal person",
now what can you expect. She's growing, getting wiser and is in a stable
relationship. To me, she is not writting her lyrics in "code". I know
exactly what she is singing about. I love all the albums The Cranberries
have ever made, and the way she writes her songs and does the music on
BTH still inspires me. She wrote the songs for NNTA on the road, she
wasn't very happy as you can listen and read the music. I don't think
albums sales sell because of the lyrics, I personally think it's because
of the music. Certain music will always appeal to certain people, (u
can't please everyone). The music that Dolores back then, related to the
teenage group more. The music she is is writting now, appeals to the
older generation, because she herself is growing. That is all, thank you
and goodbye!
what is it that makes u who u R?
