oh, yere, heaps...  mainly I find myself singing to myself some song which
reflects what my feelings currently are...  but other times I go it on
purpose, like playing a cd with a song on it which I think reflects my
thoughts and feelings at the time...  I'm especially proud of the
automatic defenses my mind has against those horrid songs which are
terrible and get stuck in ur head...  my mind simply starts to sing a
berries song to get the other out of my head!!!  it's great!!!  :)

Hi Jesica (the Vine)!

I got your e-mail and here are some answers:

<1) Why is everyone slagging of the Children’s Promise 
<video? I think it’s 
<brilliant! And yes I admit, I wouldn’t have liked it 
<so much if Dolores 
<weren’t to be in it, but nevertheless, I think it’s 
<really cool that when 
<you make a song around Christmas time with so many 
<artists for a good cause, 
<that for a change it doesn’t turn out to be a corny 
<ballad or something. I 
<mean, it could have been much worse, with Michael 
<Jackson falling to the 
<ground on his knees whining about what we have done 
<to the world and Elton 
<John singing dramatic lyrics about candles in the 
<wind and stuff.
Well for me the video isn´t brilliant, but is cool
that it´s for a good cause. About Elton John, he´s
not an artist that I like, but his song Candle in the
Wind, wich was first for Marilyn and then for princess
Diana it´s really a good song (I would prefer Dolores 
participating in that video rather than in Childrens 
Promise) and it was also for a good cause as far as I 
know. By the way, what has happened to Diana, is 
possible a main cause of Dolores trying to give a 
direct fight against the media in particular those 
sh#tty tabloids!

<Face it guys, we are so damn lucky to get a kick ass 
<rock video for a good 
<cause! Honestly, that video can make my day because 
<it looks so very funny, 
<so I am not ashamed to say that it’s only rock and 
<roll but I like it :)
<And I am also convinced that Dolores wasn’t “forced” 
<to appear in this video 
<or anything. We all know how she loves children and 
<rock and roll, so I 
<think she gladly participated and does a good job 
<indeed!

I said that of ´she was forced´ because she had to
sing in the same video with the ´Spice Girls´, that
means Taylor will have to see her mum in the same video
where the Spice are. If I remember well, Dolores said 
early this year, that Taylor will not be alowed to 
listen to that Spice music, as long as he lives in her
house!!!!!
So it seems she made peace with the Spice, or
there is something strange about all this, and as
I said, they haven´t mention that video on the
official cranberries page. My question is if Dolores
is still proud of participating on that video, after
she was edited along with the Spice grrls. And I also
wonder myself if she knew that she will apear in the
same video with them, because she was singing
´it´s only rock´n´roll´´, who will expect the Spice
singing on that?
Sometimes, this videos doesn´t even requiere that all
artists met together to sing, so it´s always the
possibility that she never knew the entire lists of
their colleagues participating.
Anyway, Dolores aint a selfish person, and when it´s
about an humanitarian cause, she doesn´t matter about
minor things like we are discussing.

<2) For all the ones who missed out on the Dolores 
<phone interview on the NBC 
<giga-site: some really nice guy from that site has 
<sent me a mp3 of it, so 
<whoever wants it, can get it.

I got also that interview and the entire show
(but with Free to Decide and Ridiculous Thoughts
got some Real Media problem, so I have this 2 songs
cutted) wich is about 2:00hs of transmision.
Anyway it´s a 18 megas Real media file (taken from
a 28k bps stream), but I guess you like it on mp3,
so you´ll have to wait until Januar for that
(Sorry! I have no time at this moment for such a 
conversion and or for upload 18 megas, so I have to 
split that transmision in 4 or 5 pieces, so that I can 
upload them in a safer way).
Anyway, it seems, only the interview and the 2 
versions of you and me will be important, because
as Frederik said,they expect to realize a live video
from that entire show!!! 

<3) Last but not least: could some of the French 
<members who managed to get 
<an issue of “Epok” please put a transcript or scan on 
<the list? I would 
<really love to read the interview and see the pics!

It seems Dolores apears on that interview? 
Unfortunately there´s no posibility of sending scans 
trough mailing lists, so hopefuly someone has it on his
webpage?

Anyway, does anybody know of a special multimedia
CD/CD-ROM that cames from ITALY and has media clips
and interviews from THE CRANBERRIES - BURY THE HATCHET
it also features some live tracks as far as I know, so
it seems to be a serious thing (like D&W was).
If anyone knows about this, please let me know.
I know that in a computer related magazine from Spain
it apeared a CD-Rom with media from TCB but it seems
this from Italy it´s and entiry CD/CD-ROM dedicated to
them. So people from Italy please help me on this 
item!!!!!!
