I watched the ISDN stream. The video quality wasn't as good as for the last webcast. The last one was smoother and came in a bigger window (because they offered a higher bandwith stream). It was still better than nothing (duh) and I didn't really notice a difference in the sound quality. I thought it was a great show overall. Dolores spoke to the crowd throughout the show, frequently in French. From what I could make out (I don't speak French...maybe someone that does can translate her comments for everyone?), before Dreams she said that they would play Dreams and then come back out to play You and Me again to be recorded for a video. Well, a few minutes after they finished Dreams, they came back out and played You and Me just like she said. So, it seems that BTH will have another single and it will be You and Me. I don't know whether it is such a great idea to release another song after the piss poor publicity they got from the label on their previous BTH singles, but I think You and Me has potential. Anyway, I was able to record most of the show. I got back to my room later than I wanted to and when I put the webcast on, they were already in the middle of Promises. Assuming that was the opening song, then I recorded every other song they played. I missed a little bit of the second version of You and Me because I didn't think they would come back out so quickly and I had stopped recording. But anyway, I got everything else. If anyone happened to have recorded Promises or You and Me #2, let me know. When I get time, I'll make mp3's of the show and post them on my server. I'll also make CD's if anyone doesn't want to bother with downloading the mp3's. But anyway, that'll have to wait until sometime after Christmas. So what did everyone think of the show? Was anyone there in person? Walkoski" Subject: [RE]Re: %Cran: webcast tomorrow From : "Frederik Bovendeerd" the show is now over. About the video, I confirm what Paul Bowen said. They are aparently doing a live video but only for single You And Me . because of this they played it twice during the concert (and Dol explained the cowd what the plans where about). So I think they want to make something like the Ridiculous Thoughts video rather than doing a Live 2. Of course my expectations is that they produce a complete official live show video highlighting the best of the Loud And Clear tour. By the way, I saw today on Much Music Argentina that Childrenīs Promise video. Itīs weird seeing Dolores and the Spice Girls on the same video, but itīs only rock and roll (where do the spice suit on that?) Itīs for me a bizarre experiment from Universal, but it seems is for a benefic cause, so letīs be it all for the cause. Anyway Dolores got the attention that she deserves on the video (or perhaps I was just looking at her?) and this could help that other people aknowledge that the Cranberries are still here and itīs time to calm down that teeny popers. I of course, passed by the Cranberries section, and saw to my joy the "just my imagination" single. Without even listening first to it, I bought it for the bside Such a Shame (I was quite disappointed that there was yet *another* Zombie live). I brought it home listened patiently through JMI and GBWY and then when Such a Shame came on...I listened to a minute and a half, and I turned it off. I don't know how anyone else feels, but that was the worst song I've ever heard by the Cranberries. I found the lyrics just so terrible they were unlistenable. I switched it to Zombie, and found that it was a relatively mediocre version of it. My complete and utter disappointment is driving me to take it back to HMV tomorrow. I know this is a list for fans where we are supposed to mostly discuss how much we like them, but that one and a half minutes or whatever was a life changing experience for me. There has never been a Cranberries song that I have disliked as much as that! Anyway, enough of my ranting. On another note. I was watching Much music (or Much More music) and saw a video with a ton of artists in it - a different one every two seconds it seemed! - all singing along to "it's only rock and roll" (or whatever the title is) originally by the stones. I did notice a brief cameo by Dolores. Of course when I watched it I made a mental note of the name of the group of artists, but I now forget it - sorry! I don't recall it being mentioned on the list, but I was wondering if anyone knows anything about it...?
