If you make yourself committed to setting right what you feel is wrong, life can be better for all of us. It's a hard road to travel, but I've heard that if it was easy to be a good person, then everyone would be that way. I'd say more but it's not germaine for this area. I hope everyone's Karma is shining bright and is doing what's right. :) Thanks, Chris ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 2 Dec 1999 09:28:17 +0100 From: "Dirk" Subject: %Cran: First post HI everyone, just to proove the list isn't dead i thought i'd post for my first time :-) This means i'm new here and i'd like to say hi to all of you. It's nice to find a Cranberries list, i looked for it a long time before i found it. I live in Belgium myself and saw the Cranberries live for the second time last week here in Brussels for the second time (the first time was four years ago) They were fabulous, the best concert i ever saw and i really saw a lot of concerts. It was great to see they still "have" it and in my opinion they were even better then before. I've been collecting Cranberries stuff for about five years now, mainly CD's and records. I don't have the money and space to buy all the other stuff :-) and after all the music is the most important thing, right. Anyway, nice to be here. But I discovered a useful thing.... I always suffered and still suffer so much under the terrible developement of our valuable world. This is actually not wrong as the world depends on our realisation and power to get things straightened out. But we sensitive characters also have to learn that we can`t be blamed just for realizing this aforesaid alienation of the world (gap between the "perfect" world and ours). I mean I felt so bad watching the terrible development of a world that has been so innocent once and all the other superficial people teased me and couldn`t understand. Consequently I came to the conclution that I AM to blame for all the grief because I was the only one suffering under it! But now I realized that it is not my fault, that I actually do my best and I`m not responsible for the others faults. My little heard is not strong enough to take all the blame on itself... I`m thankful for this enlightment. (Maybe my point is hard to understand, maybe more intelligible for us Germans who are always blamed for the Second World War and who are taught to have a guilty conscience from the first school years on...) ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 02 Dec 1999 11:59:32 +0100 From: "Matias G. Since I"ve come back from Germany, the only Cranberries music I've heard on the radio have been the usual songs: Linger, Zombie, Dreams, and the odd Ode to my Family. I have not heard one song from their latest album here in Canada. Does anyone have any info on how much BTH has sold? Surely it's no where near as many as the first two, adn I wouldn't be surprised if it hasn't sold as much as TTFD. At least I heard those songs on the radio.
