Well, I saw The Cranberries' performance on "Faddergalan" yesterday, and they did a brilliant live version of "Just My Imagination". Dolores' singing was live, but the music was playback (I'm not sure if they added some extra live music), so Dolores' backing vocals were the single's. I think this was a really nice touch, performing the song with her beautiful mellow backing vocals, together with her rough live voice. I didn't see Noel on stage, so perhaps he was sick, and that's why they didn't perform the song 100% live? That other guitarist was the only one on stage, except from the other three Cranberries members. Dolores wore a pair of jeans, and she had a top with some stripes on (not the best top to wear on TV, because it distorted the picture a bit). She looked great, though, and she did a very good interpretation of the song. She danced in her special way throughout the song, something that was very cool. The Cranberries received a great deal of applause after the song, so hopefully this means the audience liked the song, and will buy the single :) I guess that's all for now, Frode Andersen I Can't Be With You Homepage: http://thecranberries.com/ ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 17 Oct 1999 19:56:57 EDT From: DCranberri@aol.com Subject: %Cran: FTP?? PLEASE HELP. Thanks. Download a copy of CuteFTP (goto cuteftp.com), and use it. FTP is much easier if you actually have a decent client. :) Julst connect to the hostname of the server (ftp.whatever.com for example). You'll probably need a user name and password to upload it, so just specify whatever they are when you're asked for them after you connect. Don't know how helpful this was, but it made sense to me. ;) - -Brett ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 18 Oct 1999 02:14:13 "GMT" From: Ashley Subject: %Cran: ROLLING STONE POLL DON'T FOR GET TO VOTE FOR THE CRANBERRIES! http://rollingstone.tunes.com/vote/default.asp ------------------------------ End of cranlist-digest V2 #258 ******************************
