I'm please to say that all the staff of the fanzine voted to choose their favorite fanzine name and we finally got one. AND THE WINNER IS: The Cranicles!!!!! that was submited by Dublin Lime In second place came: Cranzine Submitted by Ottolino (although namy people submited the Cranzine, Ottolino was the first to submit the name to us) Since that DublinLime is on our team, he already has a one-year subsciprtion. I don,t think that it would be fair ton not give a prize so the one year subscription goes to Ottolino. We got over 50 submissions for fanzine names and some were pretty brilliant Like Ruby's Pride (from were The Cranberries did their first gig), Couch Berries, CranJuice, etc and I'd like to thank everyone for submiting their ideas for names. For those who didn,t win, their will always be a trivia contest coming soon were you will be alble to win a 1-year subsription to the fanzine (6 issues). It has been a while I have post something on the list. But here s a got opportunity. It happen that the berries will be in Stockholm, Sweden (where I live) tonight for a charity show called "Faddergalan". The program is to start at 21:00 but according to the official site (www.cranberries.ie) the band will appear around 22:10. I will definitely tape it. I will try to digitalize the video tape and make a mp3 from the song (They will only play one) that they will play tonight. May be a Quicktime3 or real video too. I can't swear it will be done, because even if I have all the desired video and computer equipment here where I am working, it happen to be my last week there, as I quitted, so I will have a ton of other things to do. However, I will keep you updated and will post everything as it is done on Paul FTP site in the upload section. Cheers. I just want to add something to what Francois stated: This Charity show, "Faddergalan", will air on the Swedish TV channel TV4 from 21:00 - 23:15 (CET). TV4 is available in most of the Nordic countries through cable or satellite dish. The Cranberries will go on at 22.53 (approx.) and will perform one song: "Just My Imagination". Other artists to perform will be: Simply Red, Savage Garden, Norwegian artist Lene Marlin, Swedish group Roxette, and various other Swedish acts. I just wanted to give everyone who has the opportunity to watch this show all the information! :) Bye!
