Its been a while since the last time I posted the latest devellopements in the Fanzine so here it is. First of all, we decided that it would be best if only the crew members of the fanzine voted to decide the name. This means that their will be no prize for voting BUT their will be an other contest very soon that will be kinda like a name that tune, song quotes and a trivia all toghether that will have a one year (1 issues) subscription to the fanzine as a prize. Also, we found a copy place were we can print the fanzine. Color is very very expensive so only the cover will be in color and the rest will be in black and whit. If we had decided to do all of the fanzine in color, it would have costed about 24$ PER ISSUE!!!! but now it will only cost about 4:20$ CDN (that's about 3.30$ americain) to make. We also started deciding the sections in the fanzine. Althought I can't tell them right now, I can say that they are going to be very informative and interesting. I can,t wait to get this started. I am starting to do the desing for the website of the fanzine and it should be ready in about 2 weeks. That's all for now! jean¦françois ²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²² ²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²² Jean-François Goyette (Fluoberry) e-mail me at dbgoyet@videotron.ca or ICQ me at 43408869 Cranberries Waltzing Back website: http://pages.infinit.net/fluo1 "To hell with what your thinking, and to hell with your narrow mind. That's a form of plaguirism-- to take someone else's idea, and not paying them to use it. Now you have dozens of ideas for titles, and you slyly back out of awarding anyone for anything. You'll be using someone else's name and they won't get a thing for it. So in my opinion, you have two options. #1-- Still reward the person whose title you use #2-- Create your own title, not using any submissions. -Alex - ----Original Message Follows---- From: Goyette Reply-To: Goyette To: "Cranberries@Onelist.com" , "TheCranberries@Onelist" , Ridiculous Thoughts mailling list , the_cranberry_saw_me@onelist.com, hlas@onelist.com Subject: %Cran: Cranberries Fanzine Update Date: Mon, 11 Oct 1999 10:22:48 -0400 Hi their everybody! Today I went to visit my dream school. . . DREW UNIVERSITY. It was the perfect school for me and I could most likely be admitted. So what's the problem? you ask, the problem is that the tuition is $32,000 a year. And that's typical college tuition here in New Jersey!! The cheapest I've seen is $10,000 a year, and that was one of the "not so great universities". Could someone please tell me who these people who come up with these figures think are going to be able to pay that kind of money!! Are there any seniors on the list who understand the stress I'm dealing with? Just thought I'd get that off my chest. Anyway, since I'm so nice, I'll give each of the entrants a free MP3/movie CD-R. Here are the answers to each question along with where I found them. 1) This person has directed more cranberries videos than anyone else. Who is Samuel Bayer? Source: This information is available in various places. He directed all 4 NNTA videos. 2) The number of people whose vocals can be heard on the cranberries' first full length album. What is 3? Source: The Everybody Else liner notes. The vocals are from Dolores, Noel (How and possibly other songs), and Mike Mahoney (Dreams). 3) The number of horses Dolores has. What is 7? Source: Elle magazine, September 1999 (UK edition) 4) The "band" that Fergal would most like to be in if he weren't in the cranberries. What is "Robin Hood and his band of merry men"? Source: Free to Decide tourbook 5) The date Doors and Windows was released. What is September 22, 1995? Source: www.cranberries.ie 6) The first song Dolores wrote about the press. What is Not Sorry? Source: This information is available in various places. 7) The name of Dolores's dog. What is Geena? Source: Loud and Clear tourbook.
