I'm not sure, but I think the guitar you mean is the Casino-guitar, right? If so, it's not a Gibson-guitar. Well, actually it's from the Gibson-factories, but it's an Epiphone, a Gibson-'sub-brand'. As far as I know Gibson has never produced any Casino's. Just ignore me if I'm wrong, but this is what I know. By the way, did you know that it was John Lennon who re-introduced the Casino? A few months ago Epiphone released two John Lennon-autographed guitars (replica's from the original Lennon-Casino's). As far as I know they're the most expensive new Epiphone's. Isn't that cool (well, being a Beatles-fan I really think it's cool :)). Well, that's all for now! You can see a picture from Dolores with that Guitar on the 'in your head' book by Stuart Bailie on page 61 (Dolores is dressed black, with short blonde hair, a big cross, and you can see clearly the name Gibson at the guitar head). I've seen dolores with that guitar in various pic's and we know that they usually use Gibsons for electric guitars and Taylors for the acoustics. So, lets say, I'm 80% sure that she used that model. I'll send you on a separated e-mail a pic from that guitar. Bye, WALKO. From : info@noviomagum.com >>From: Matias G. I don't think I've ever seen the berries play Epiphones... epiphone is to Gibson what Squier is Fender... sort of the cheap version (I know this cos I own a Squier Strat :) Anyhoo, the red guitar is in fact an ES-335 'CHERRY' Gibson, as was previously pointed out. As for other guitars, Noel, in the past has played a Strat, and Dolores on occasion, plays a Fender Telecaster. Noel usually plays Taylor acoustics, and Dolores Guild acoustics (Guilds are beautiful guitars!) Anyone know what make that semi was that Noel played in Go Your Own Way? Just a quick question regarding the end of Ridiculous Thoughts... is it just me, or does Fergal show off when he knows it's being broadcast? On the TTFD TV concert in 96, they know it was being recorded, and at the end of RT, Fergal played really fast triplets, and he did the same again on the webcast. On all the bootlegs I've heard (both new and old), he never does this... Food for thought.... - -- Schmidty schmidty@schmidty.simplenet.com http://schmidty.simplenet.com "I saw you standing there when I was seventeen Now I'm 32 and I can't remember what I'd seen in you" - -Home (Sheryl Crow) ------------------------------ End of cranlist-digest V2 #238 ******************************
