I have great news for CranFans all over the world. As you might know, I did a survey on the idea of making a Cranberries fanzine. The response was overwelming! Some people actually stated writing reviews of concerts and albums for the fanzine! Everybody loved the idea. I decided I would do it. I'm currently taking suggestions for the name of the fanzine (something original). I have decided a few things concerning it The subsciption price should be about: 20$ CDN for 10 issues (one year) for Canadian subscribers 12.50$ CDN for 5 issues for Canadian subscirbers 25$ CDN for 10 issues for the US peeps 16$ CDN for 5 issues for the US subscibers 30$ for 10 issues everywere else Seperatly, each issue will cost 4$ CDN for canada, 4.75$ CDN for the US ans 5$ CDN for anywere else. Seperate issues will be available by order via the fanzines website. Their will be a online version of the fanzine for **some** articles of the last fanzine. The Fanzine will probebly in glossy magazine paper (with maby a couple of pages in color). Each fanzine will be approximatly 30 pages long and will feature games, contests, interviews, reviews, cranCulture, discography issues, biographical issues, guitare tabs, fan art, poetry and muc more. Their will be a team created for to write article and publish the fanzine but other people not in the team will also be able to contribute. The fanzine will probebly be printed at a loacal printer in my area since my printer is inkjet and it would require many refils and b-sdes, the color is crappy. I think that's all for now. I'm currently looking for a name for the fanzine. I taped it when it was on today (Friday), but they didn't show the JMI commercial that they showed during the original broadcast. Can someone capture it and post it on a web or FTP site somewhere? I'm sure lots of other idiots like myself would really appreciate it. I just saw on eBay that someone was auctioning off a CD of the show on 8/13/99. The current high bid was $46.99. It sickens me that some people will blatantly take advantage of other cranfans in this manner. It's just a CD-R, so why not make a copy for anyone that wants one rather than only giving it to one person and completely ripping that one person off? I personally taped the shows on 8/13 and 8/17. I'm having a little trouble with my CD burner at the moment (it crashes my computer), but once I get that taken care of, I'll make copies of both shows for everyone that wants them. I'm thinking of charging $15 each or $25 for both shows (including shipping within North America). I'd like to charge less, but even charging this much, I won't be making a profit after you subtract off the cost of the equipment I bought to tape these shows. If anyone is interested, just email me. Also, I'll copy any of my bootlegs or make b-side compilation CD's for $10 each.
