EEIDISWCW has something the others don't have, altho perhaps nnta also has it... not as much tho... they're all so young, and the lyrics are more heart-felt, or something like that... they have changed too much, and so their music has also changed... tis a pity, I believe... but that's just my opinion... I've also found that I have drifted away from the berries towards other artists, altho I'd still say that they're my fav. band, simply cause they have been for so long now... :) nic... <<--------------- "I can't believe that!" said Alice. Now if ever there is a powerful cover this it. as you'd expect dolores' vocals are full of beauty, emotion & power; and frankly they leave lindsay buckingham's vocals on the original recording for dead. for those who haven't heard it, it's on a Tribute to Fleetwod Mac's Rumour's. sighh... the harmonies on this track which dolores does are brilliant. check it out, if you haven't heard it! keep your ears happy daniel ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 2 Aug 1999 19:11:33 EDT From: DCranberri@aol.com Subject: Re: %Cran: Go your own way In a message dated 8/2/99 2:26:50 PM Pacific Daylight Time, d.miau@cqu.edu.au writes: << has anyone heard the cranberries cover of fleetwood mac's Go Your Own Way? Hi peeps! I'm very disapointed that Animal Instincts didn't take off the same way "Promises" did. I say that we should vote for it. A lot of people that heard the song loved it but it hasn,t been getting a lot of airplay. I say we vote on Musique Plus (www.musiqueplus.com) MTV (www.mtv.com), Much Music (www.muchmusic.com) and any other music TV station for Animal Instincts. Anyways, Bye bye for now Fluoberry _________________________________________________ Jean-François Goyette (Fluoberry) dbgoyet@videotron.ca or fluo89@usa.net ICQ 10289063 Web page: http://pages.infinit.net/fluo1 (under huge renovations) "And I didn't think I would think about you in this way " Dolores O'Riordan of The Cranberries _________________________________________________ ------------------------------ End of cranlist-digest V2 #196 ******************************
